The Magic of Tarot

Tarot began as 15th-century Italian playing cards, later adopted for divination by 18th-century French mystics. The most widely used deck today, the Rider-Waite-Smith (1909), was created by mystic A.E. Waite and artist Pamela Colman Smith, blending rich symbolism with esoteric traditions like Kabbalah and astrology.

The cards resonated with me immediately because they merge everything I love—spirituality and imagination, tangible reality and mystic symbols. When I started using them, they always pointed me in the right direction—and did so in a soft, guiding way. Very soon, I was hooked.

For both myself and my clients, I use Tarot card readings to assist with making critical decisions, understanding relationships, and identifying emotional blocks. They offer deep spiritual insight when I feel stuck and bring both hope and inspiration when I need it most.

And it doesn’t stop at answers. One of the things I love most about Tarot is how it often leads to the next question—the one that gets to the heart of the matter. A good reading isn’t just about solving a problem. It’s about helping you understand what’s really going on beneath the surface so you can move forward with more clarity and confidence.

The Way I Work

Because listening to Spirit's voice asks for an open heart, we will begin our session with a breath work, to help settle.

We will meet live at the practice in Haarlem, or online via zoom.

You will bring your deep questions, concerns and wishes and together we will phrase them to the language that allows the conversation with Spirit to rise.

The session will take about 45 minutes and can be recorded if you wish. â€‹â€‹

Golden Rules of Tarot

Reading Tarot is an intimate conversation between you and Spirit.
My role is to protect this sacred dialogue from disruption, and to keep it genuine, respectful, and constructive.

To honor this space, we follow a few golden rules:

  • We focus only on your life and your personal matters - not on the private lives or choices of others.

  • We do not address medical concerns or offer diagnoses.

  • We can't directly ask the cards to tell the future. We can only discuss the potential future in the context of a specific question.

These guidelines help ensure that our session remains clear, empowering, and aligned with your highest good.
